Compact5

The Compact5, a compact 5-axis machining centre, was developed specifically for the requirements of the jewellery and watch industry.

With its compact design and optimised axis arrangement, this 5-axis machining centre offers a wide range of options and machining possibilities that are not feasible with conventional milling centres. Whether rings, bracelets, jewellery or watch parts – a wide variety of surfaces can be precisely diamond milled, engraved, guilloché, faceted or turned.

With a footprint of only 1.4 m², the Compact5 offers maximum precision with minimum space requirements, making it ideal for efficient production in limited spaces.

The Compact5 can be optionally equipped with a fully automatic stone setting device, which sets gemstones with high precision and reproducibility. Automatic workpiece loading and unloading devices, an intelligent chain magazine for workpieces and stone magazines, and the option of connecting to an external robot cell make the Compact5 a highly productive and flexible machining centre for modern jewellery and watch production.

The Compact5 is very easy and intuitive to program and operate thanks to specially developed, parameterised CNC programs in conjunction with special user interfaces. With the additional Benzinger Creative CAD/CAM package, designs for milling and stone setting processes can be created and constructed directly in CAD. The CAM module converts these designs directly into 5-axis milling programs for the Compact5.
