Rotary table on a lathe
A rotary table extends the function of a CNC high-precision lathe and represents an additional axis of movement.
Rotary tables for machine tools save time and increase machining accuracy.
Production of high-precision geometries.
As the same point of the cutting edge can always be held in engagement, shape accuracies of less than 2 µm can be achieved.
The tool follows the contour via the B-axis of the rotary table so that the same cutting edge engagement point is always used. This allows very high shape accuracies to be achieved with spherical surfaces.

Roundness < 0,0005 mm
